Engine Control Module (ECM) Calibration ID

The ECM fitted to today's modern engine management system is responsible for the 'mapping' of the ignition timing and the fuel delivery.

The Federal Government implemented the use of computer controlled ignition and fuel systems for three main reasons:

•	To aid customer safety
•	To reduce fuel consumption
•	To reduce emissions

ECM Calibration ID is searched by VIN.
